IEEE Senior Member and Associate Professor at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Pang earned his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in 2021. His research focuses on medical image analysis, embodied intelligent surgical robots, large-scale vision models, on-device models for AI chips, and blockchain security.
Between September 2022 and September 2025, he served as an associate professor at Guangzhou University. Prior to this, he worked as a machine learning scientist at Moffett AI in Los Altos, California, from April 2021 to May 2022. He also held instructor positions at the University of Colorado Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver.
